Powder coating 18 inch factory wheels

Hi everyone,

Quick question

I am thinking to powder coat (sti bronse color or work wheels bronze ) on 2009 18inch tl sh-awd wheels.

Has anyone done this ? If yes can u post pics/link here plz
If not what r ur views on it

I think it will be a inexpensive alternative to give a nice look to ur car

i think leaving it the color it is looks good already.

Would look good with Blue (RBP) or Black (CBP). Otherwise, NO

Its is Palladium Metallic (greyish silver)

it wont look good with the color you have.. sorry... just wont work out.

It is your car. Do with it what you want. If you can find pics of others who have done it before you, all the better, so you can validate that's what you want. Any other information you get from here will be opinion, although sometimes opinions matter to some.

Make sure the process does not involve them exceeding 200 degrees centigrade. Anything more than that may age the aluminium causing stress fractures or complete failure of the structure.

Horrible^

I think one of the ugliest rides I have ever seen was a non-OEM battleship grey color (not primer, actually grey) Honda Accord with 24ct gold plated emblems/badges and chrome wheels. I can't imagine why anyone would want to paint their car that color let alone add those accents.

Just because it can be done, doesn't mean it should be done.
