New TL owner and looking at 20" wheels

Hello - just picked ups 4G TL. I am looking at buying some 20" wheels. Can anybody confirm if these will work?

20x9 35
20x10.5 42

What size tire is best? I don't want them stretched.

Will have any rubbing?

I will probably leave on stock suspension for now. May get a slight drop, but nothing slammed.

Thanks in advanced.

Hi sigbrown1297,

I have the exact same wheel measurements on my SH-AWD TL. 20x9 +35 front and20x10.5 +42 rear.
I’m running 245/35/20 all around and I have a big stretch in the back, I loveit, it looks mean.
At stock height no rubbing at all. I lowered the car and had a little rubbing problems on curves and bumps, to fix that I had to roll the fenders.

So far very happy with my setup.

If you don’t want to go stretch, go 20x9 all around, it’s a safe bet.

Do you have the SH-AWD? And you might want to do Suspension before wheels because when you swap the wheels at stock hight your going to look like a ZDX.

I did 20x10 and lowered not Slam to old for that. +35 All around 255/35/20

Honestly I'm not sure. I just went low enough till I get the wheel gap situated.
