New Guy needs help... lol
So I have made up my mind on a set of wheels i want for my WDP. I am going with the MRR GT1's in hypersilver. I wanted to know 1. Can I fit the 22's..?!? and 2. If i HAVE to go with the 20" whats the best way to lower the car about a 1" or so to give it a nicer look? thanks for the help fellas.

you might be able to fit 22's, but in my opinion, that won't fit the car at all.

Stay with 19's, IMO.

A couple of us have gone to 20's without a drop and it looks pretty good. A couple more went 20's with H&R springs. Look at Blackura and Petec's rides with 20's and the drops. Mine and wmahmud's for no drop. I'd stay away from 22's...you gotz no tire left man.

There was a girl on here from AZ that put 22's chrome's on her car. She went with 35 profile so that she wasn't running on rubberbands... They'll fit... and if that
Honestly, 20's are big enough, They fit the wheel well nicely. If you're on SHAWD - get the H&R springs, it will drop about 1.5", and will leave about a finger gap for the wheel well. |
Here's that thread.

Won't comment on the desire for 22's ... misguided youth is all I'd say ... but nice choice on the wheels.

You're confusted Pete...35's for a 20" ;)
Needless to say, it looks like 22s would "fit", but you better be driving on glass smooth roads, you're going to feel every little bump. |
