Need tire suggestion

I have a 2011 TL w/tech with almost 30k miles. It has factory 17" tires and I want to replace them. The only complaint that I have with the existing tires is that they are noisy. Any suggestions on what tires I should use? Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

Check out Continental DWS all season tires at tire rack. For the price it would hard for you to do better. Most members love these tires. I have them on my car, and love them. Much better than stock.

I just slapped on Falken FK452's. They are a Summer Tire. Not sure if you can get use them year round in South Carolina. The 452 is the older tire and was replaced by the 453 which was recently released . Pep Boys had a deal, buy 3, get 1 free. It's a decent tire for the money with the promotion. So far, they are quiet and the wet/dry traction is great. We'll see how long they last!

I'm in the same boat....not alot of options for the 245 50 17.(Especially summer tire) I am running snow tires right now, and need some suggestions. Would it be bad to run a 255 50 17?

Go plus-one with some new wheels. 18's are the optimal size for that vehicle IMHO.
