I've used them. My TL had them on when I bought it, with about 7/32" of tread left. I think they had great traction in both wet and snowy conditions. They didn't feel too sporty to me. But I'm used to the Conti DWS06 which are considered "Ultra High Performance All-Season" while the Premier A/S's are a Touring All Season. So it's not really apples to apples.
I personally find the DWS06's to have better traction but the downside is that they wear out rather quickly. I've gotten about 35K miles max. They have a 50K miles warranty but I'm pretty hard on them. The Michelins, with only 7/32" lasted about 50K miles. Which means if they had the full 8.5"/32 they probably would have easily lasted the 60K miles which is what they're warrantied for.
The Premier have a cool feature where the grooves expand as they wear, which causes them to retain their traction even when they start wearing out. That was very beneficial when I only had 3-4/32" and still had to deal with wet and mild snowy conditions. Although the DWS06's have a pretty soft rubber compound that does pretty well even when the "S" and "W" have worn out.

Premier A/S is very good in the wet, and is decent in the snow. But, nothing beats a proper set of winter tires when driving in the snow.
However, the Premier A/S is only a touring tire, not a performance tire; and, as a result, will handles as such.
Also, the tires do wear out fast.

Easy ride and quiet tires. Just like a top-rated touring tire. Definitely not for sporty driving.

I put them on my TL around 64K miles. I drive mostly highway cruising. I'm going to replace them in a few months (~135k miles) with the same.
I'll get ~70k miles out of them. They do everything I need especially when the road is wet. Quiet & responsive.

I just changed my tires Saturday and thought about those a lot as I have had good luck with Michelins in the past, the Primacy mxv were my last set on a Maxima. However found many comments on tirerack and elsewhere say the A/S tread is also wearing prematurely. But those are 8.5/32 compared to most others at 10 or 11/32 which is what I think is the reason. I went with the Conti pro contact LS. They grip like crazy however have a softer sidewall, running at 35psi which is a little more firm than the factory 32 recommendation. May take to 36 or 37
