Michelin Alpin PA3 Snow Tire Review
Finally got a chance to try them on my 2012 SH AWD in Snow. Freaking awesome tire! I was worried when I first got them since the tread depth and pattern isn't real aggressive compared to Blizzaks (what my wife has). But after driving them for a couple months, they truly are a performance tire geared for snow. What I like best is when it's not snowing (99% of the time), they drive like a normal tire. Road noise normal, ride is normal, but when the snow comes, they grip like a mother. Expensive, but worth it.

I had the Alpin PA3 winter tires on my 2G TL-S before, and I loved them.
The PA3 is a high performance V-rated snow tire. Even thought it is not the best snow/ice traction winter tire like the H-rated Bridgestone Blizzard, it is still a capable snow tire to handle snow and ice very well.
The best part is that the PA3 will perform in the dry just like a regular performance summer tire. It's dry road traction is simply unbelievable amazing.
Other snow tires tend to rob a lot of dry road performance out of the car. But not the PA3's.
With the PA3 winter tires, I no longer kept cursing myself, like I used to, for not putting summer tires back on, whenever I drove on dry roads on sunny days during the long winter months.
I was planning to buy the PA3 winter tires again for my '12 TL. However, even though Michelin originally listed the 245/40/19 size as available, and later updated with unknown ETA, Michelin eventually pulled the size off the list altogether.
I guess I have to wait til end of the year to buy them again.
