Just ordered tein coilovers, should I buy a camber kit?
Just ordered Tein Street Advance (GSB96-2USS2) coilover kit for my 2012 TL (merry Christmas to me). The plan is to replace my stock wheels 18 inch with 19 inch wheels.
Will be running 225/45/R19 in the front and 255/40R19 in the back (9.5 inch wheels front/10.5 inch wheels back)
Should I order a camber kit as well?
I want to get the alignment done after I drop it, but want to avoid taking in for alignment twice. I would rather install a camber kit right away instead of finding out I need one when I take it in for alignment.
Those of you who ride on coilovers, do you have a camber kit?
Thanks!

the thing is, each setup is going to be different, INCLUDING your own.
it all depends on your goals!!!
if you plan to drop 2inches or more, the camber will be out of spec.
your camber could be out of spec right now!!!! camber is non-adjustable from the factory, so the ONLY way to adjust camber is to get a camber kit.
so, if your goal is drop below 2 inches and keep camber in spec, then yes...get a camber kit. ingalls is nice.
PLUS, since this will be your first time dropping, I GUARANTEE, you're going to play with ride height. you are going to get alignments done twice or more.
so, the best suggestion is to wait a week or two before getting an alignment.
this way, you'll be able to adjust things to your liking, then get an alignment

Noticed that your planning to run a staggered fitment on an AWD vehicle. I'm not against it or anything just as long as your rolling diameter is good happy trails to you. Just concerns me that you want to avoid going to the alignment shop twice and not having to fuss over your suspension. I get that, but you do know that you'll be sliding over to the tire shop department more and spending a lil bit more on your tires right? Since it's a staggered fitment also to think about is warranty on the tires. I'm just saying

While not everybody does, most people do end up getting a camber kit to help combat uneven/pre-mature tire ware.

I like the idea of that. I guess I will decide if I'm going to get the kit after I get my alignment done and see the numbers. I haven't taken it in yet but have an appointment early next week.
