Good Year Eagle RS-A

Hey, can anyone tell me how their TL's with the RS-A's feel? Thinking of purchasing these, but want to know how you guys feel about them.

I am not sure how they are on the TL but I have driven numerous cars in the past that had these tires and really disliked them. They are poor in rain, low thread life and are expensive. I would look at the Bridgestone or Yokohama myself.

One good thing I do like about the Eagle RS-A is the look of the tire...I like the sidewall (look wise).

I could be wrong and this is just based on limited information, but I am highly skeptical that those tire will wear well or last as long as they should on a 4G TL.

+1 These tires are horrible. I've had several cars that came with them as OEM equipment and they suck. What gets me is how overpriced they are. You can do so much better at half the cost.

Same as what Michelin did with the OE HX MXM4 Pilots on the 3G TL. One of the worst rated tires in it's catagory and the Tire Rack cost per tire was almost $300. Complete rip-off.

I figure they sell them to Acura cheap (based on volume, etc), then jack the market price expecting a lot of owners to want an exact replacement. Like taking candy from a baby.

that's true. The tire companies make alot of money from people who want nothing but original tires. I would recommend the Continental DWS even if you don't need snow traction. I already bought 3 sets for my family members, very happy with them, handling + tread life.
