I thought stock was 18x8 (245/45) or 19x8 (245x40)?

those are the stock numbers, but for 20's you have to decrease the side height by 5 % in order to maintain a similar to stock overall diameter, otherwise it throws your speedometer way off. The width will be the same as stock though at 245mm.

the rule of thumb is not more than a 3% change from stock rolling diameter.
here is a good tire calculator site http://www.1010tires.com/tiresizecalculator.asp

just got the tires yesterday and having them mounted today, may wait a couple of weeks so that they fill in some of the potholes in here before i put them on. i went with 245/35/20 good year f1 all around because they have the carbon fiber side wall.

Nice, expensive too, just like those rims. Your at about $1200 per rim & tire. How high of a profile could you go with the 20's? Would 45 look stupid? You could just drive around the pot holes, put those babies! JK.

supposed to be flurries and snow tonight, can u believe that, its almost may and still flurries. i am never going to be able to put these things on, only two seasons in Chicago winter and construction.

i did get the f1 summer tires, using the stock as winter, but thanks for the info bearcat94, if they get loud i'll definitely look into this.

All too familiar with the late april flurries, I grew up in Indianapolis, and the mid-west weather never seems to amaze me. It will be 105 F in a few weeks. Can't wait for you to get them put on.

Ah thank god, I was seriously considering those. IMO, they looked better in the box. It just doesn't look right for my tastes, the tires look small and not beefy enough? It looks like a stock Infiniti now. However, it's F'in a 1000 times better, nice Rehab. Can I have your stock AWD rims?

I actually agree BMode, something about that looks funny. Maybe its the pictures since they're small. I feel like 19s would look better and definitely that drop!

I wanted to do the polished lip and black face but I'm really hoping that's not the reason this looks wierd since it accents everything on the car.

At least throw on the splash guards to make it look custom. It lowers the car by deception as the guards extend the body mold, and the finish of the CBP is a dead on match, just no sparklies in the paint.

That is a nice set up rehab. The tint and wheels look great on your car. In fact those rims are among the best looking Ive seen so far on the 4GTL.

The specifications are as follows:

Model: iForged FS Rev
Size: 20x8.5 2 PC. lightweight forged wheel

Front : 1.5" visible lip clears BBK Offset +37

Rear : 1.5" visible lip clears BBK Offset +37

Finish: Gloss Black with High Polish Lips

no rubbing at all, but we'll see when it gets dropped. overall i'm happy with the way it came out, never had black center wheels before, but it definitely needs a drop. the pictures actually don't do it justice, as all 4g tl buyers should be aware of.

looks good, maybe looks small becaause of the lip, a flat face design in the same 20" diameter tends to look bigger. Some tire dressing and a drop would solve athe funny look some are seeing.

I don't think so Ron, at least for my tastes. Your rims however I find too busy, are much sportier, and these just don't look aggressive enough for me? Please, take more pics Rehab?

the rims do look smaller, i think it is because of the lip and also the black center. I didn't want the flat face 20's because sometimes they tend to over power the look. i dressed the tires and washed the car and it looks good, i'll have to post more pics when i get the time.
