BMW M6 Replica Wheels on 4G TL?? HOW? WHERE??

Where do I find these wheels? I think this looks pretty hot considering our LIMITED wheel options with the 4G TL. Any info on how to get these wheels or how to contact the owner of this car would be greatly appreciated. What do you all think??

I saw the original post but it didn't give much information. I am looking to get my hands on these wheels, possibly in chrome, for my 4G TL. The other thread looked like a bunch of 3G TL owners.

doesn't look like any specifics were clarified.

would love to know the size, offset, weight, and where you can purchase those - they look better than any OEM offerings from Acura.

I saw those wheels on Ebay last month (don't see them anymore....sold-out maybe?).....those are 20's and the offset I believe is something like 35-40 (different than OEM). Looks nice, but kinda odd on a TL to me.

What's our bolt pattern. All the wheels on that site seems to be 120x5s.

Whatever all that means...

They went to the 5x120 bolt pattern for the 4G. It kind of sucks too because there are a lot less wheel options for this now.

That means these should fit (assuming brake caliper clearence)

19x9.5
40 offset
5x120

http://www.mirowheels.com/346.html

personally i wouldn't go with 20's due to the rubber band tires, you should be able to get away with 19's and whatever tire size these use on the HPT optional wheel package for the TL.

So 4Gs shares the same bolt pattern as BMWs, Audis, and Benzs now. There are plenty of wheel brands still no?

There are a bunch, but none that I like. Some websites still don't have the 09 TL posted as an option. Someone mention in the forum that the 09 TL is the same as the MDX, so you can substitute that when searching a site.

Go search the BMW forums. There are vendors on there who sell BMW OEM replica wheels (M3, M5, M6, etc...).

The Acuras that now have the 5 x 120mm bolt pattern are the:
  • 2005+ RL
  • 2007+ MDX
  • 2009+ TL
While 5 x 114.3mm still provides more options, 5 x 120mm offers a higher-end selection. And the eBay ad said they're made by MC Design Tek, not sure if that's an alias name for Miro Wheels, but perhaps another search option.

I have been looking to buy a set of these as well, shopping on ebay for them and they only have the staggered wheels for sale. Seems we would only need the front wheel size and not the rear am I right?

^^ Lexus/Toyota share the same bolt pattern as Honda and Nissan.

I'm pretty sure BMW is the only other one with 5x120, Audi is 5x112 i think?

actually it is different by the model as well. lexus LS has 5x120 while the IS and GS have 5x114.3. like acura new TL, MDX, RL are 5X120 and old TL and TSX are 5x114.3

JJaber06 is right. Most if not all BMWs have 5x120. Most MBs and Audi/VW have 5x112.

I think wheels for BMW 3-series (E36, E46, E9x) will fit the 4G TL. They generally have higher offset than 5- and 7-series, except M3. 3-series also have larger center bore (72.x mm) than Acura.

Exclamation Leave bmw wheels alone! Fellow acura members

Leave BMW wheels on BMWs only!!! Please for the sake of your dignity.

You dont see me putting Ferrari wheels on my Honda Civic now do you?

Bottom line find more appropriate wheels.

who cares as long as it looks nice. Those M6 rims on that black TL up there looks pretty clean and it fits the TL well.

I hate to say it, but that's kind of how I feel, too.

I think that the OEM 18" wheels on the SH-AWD TECH are probably the best looking Honda wheels that have ever been produced, and the 19" HPT wheels and the 19" accessory wheels are also very good looking.

The 4G TL is big enough for 20" wheels, probably. I understand...and it's your car to do with what you want, of course.

mcwheeldesign.net isn't an actual site... do you know what brand your wheels are?

I also had problems when whitebeast game me this website. Unfortunately, he didn't response to my pm telling him this didn't exist.

Here is the correct url for the MC DESIGN website that you need:

www.mcdesign1.com

you'll find these wheels on page 2 , 1st row right side, although the ones pictured look to have a 2-3" lip

you're welcome

I checked out the COR Bravia 3pc... it can't be the same wheel.. that thing is all about lip... what I'm loking for (and what these guys have) are all about the concavity.

^ Yeah, even the spokes are different....can't be the same wheel. I must say that the M6 knock-offs look the best (IMO) of all the aftermarket wheels that I've seen on the 4G...others that I've seen look a little too "Tuner" for my tastes.
