Black stock rims

Anybody paint or powder coat the stock rims on a 2012 TL base model. Thinking of doing it

I thought about that but I instead bought the stock AWD wheels from 2010 and sold my stock 17s. My guess is the difference between what I paid and what I sold mine for is about the same as painting/powdercoating.

Stock ?

There are sooooooo many other great looking wheels out there in black than the base wheel.

Even this would be better:

I put plastidip on my 2009 wheels to see if actually like the look of them in black. It cost me $150 to dip all 4 wheels. Check out www.dipyourcar.com.

Will the tire iron of the mounting/dismounting machine ruin the plasticdip finish, when getting new tires or fixing a flat ?

Maybe im in the minority here but I think flat/matte black is a color left best to 100k+ exotics (GTR & Germans included).
