Baby car seats and the TL

So, I use my car as my daily to transport my 2yr old boy around. With the new unexpected news from my fiance we are blessed to have another one on the way!...My question is, is anybody here rolling around with two baby seats strapped in the back? My 2yr old rest comfortably in his recaro bucket and the new born will be placed in a rear facing seat until he/she is ready. What worries me is actual trunk space. The opening seems a tad small and quite cumbersome to pull strollers in and out with various other things to haul around and with an extra baby and more things to carry I've even thought about a different vehicle.

It's gonna be hard with two kids in this car. I have a six months old and one day I took him to bj's and that's when I realize how small the trunk is .

Put the tounger one passengervside, the front facing seat driver side and you should be all right. I have two big front facing seat and I have no problem. I have put some seat protector for qinter because feet are still close to the back of the seat.

You may also want to consider investing in the rear seat cover.

I have a 4 month old. He goes behind the passenger seat. I also installed the rear seat cover. However, when he gets older, I want to put something on the back of the front seats to protect them.
Suggestions would be appreciated.

This is what I have put, it is clear with black trim (not the blue one like the picutre) and on black seat it is real cheap and good solution.

I'm in the same situation. The TL isn't a great car when you've got one stroller taking up room in the trunk, let alone 2. Unfortunately a real people mover will be in my future. The MDX looks like a nice option but with pricing it will more likely be an Oddessey instead.

thanks for the comments guys..Yeah, I have a seat protector underneath the car seat now. When I purchased the car it was before finding out about the 2nd child and with the TL already being a lil cumbersome with only 1 child, I'm just trying to find out any success stories with 2 young ones!
