Aftermarket master cylinder brake
My car needs new master cylinder for brake and OEM part is not in stock , it's currently at the shop. What are better if not equal compatible aftermarket master cylinder which I can put and make car driveable asap

Had bought the OEM master cylinder and it did not work, tech says they need to replace the ABS module which is freaking expensive , car has 70K miles . Is that normal?
Original issue is brake pedal became soft and needs to be pushed down to apply brakes

the third generation TL's had a recall for their ABS modulator for exactly the reason you are here for...air in brake lines.
but at this point, the dealer probably is not gonna "goodwill" you an ABS modulator.
You can try a used unit from a junk yard, but there's no telling if it's going to happen again.
