275/40/18 Conti DWS tires on 9" rims
A friend of mine claims to have purchased 275/40/18 Conti DWS tires on 9" rims for his 2010 TL SH-AWD. According to the Tire Rack, those tires have the same overall diameter so the speedo will not be affected, BUT how will they fit inside the wheel wells? It looks like they would fit in the rear, but the front I question.
IF this combo works, I think it would look awesome. Any thoughts out there in cyber land?

285/35/19 too
This combo will work provide the rims are the correct offset.
The front wheel wells would require rims with a different offset then the rear in order to achieve the proper look.
I've had an extensive talk with Ronny from RonJon because I'm working on a custom set of DT3-F's for my TL
Oh, btw the 285/35/19 gives a contact path of over 11" which is just sick
