No. That is a very weak offset.

10" +40 and 245/35R20 will leave you with a huge gap man. Go with the 10.5" in the rears at least.

Any gap you see is a function of ride height, not offset. Your setup will be flush to the fenders.

I don't like the look of 'poke' which seems to be what the peanut gallery is suggesting.

x10 +40 is flush, ya you can run a spec like fyah that has poke and camber, but this guy just wants to set it and forget it rather than pulling fenders.

I have 20x8.5 +40 and it is pretty flush an extra .75 inches out w a x10 even more.

Aren't you busy trading your x10.5's for 11's?

10 +40 is NOT flush with 245/35 tires. Maybe 275/30 TIRES are flush but not the rim lips. Which looks like a dune buggy.

OP...245/35 tires will look great on 10" wheels. Just know you can get away with +20 easily.

i gave good advice.... Telling him to go 10.5 +20 is bad advice for someone not wanting to deal with fender work.

I wish you the best of luck in achieving the most non functional wheel setup on the site. You'll be hardparking soon!

I understand, but I'm sure he wants his TL to actually look better than stock. Not the other way around....like yours.

like putting on 3 piece forged miro 111's...

or maybe a carbon fiber rudolph nose.... or even better +5 hp tein stickers.... Cause you don't want them to see the miro's and assume they are cut springs....

I was the same whereas i didnt want to do fender work... not yet at least But the set up im running is vossen cv7 20x9+35 square with 245/35/20. No fender work necessary and theres no huge gap it fills the fenders quite well.

Thank you! Yes sir, on Tein SS. If you're going to lower the car go with coils it will save you a lot more money in the long run.

dont make the mistake of getting springs only.. spend 1k.. get yourself full coils.. makes a big difference.. instead of your car getting stiffer from springs only.. the full coils makes your car smoother..

take my advice.. few people already regret going springs since they got the coils and they did say that if they could do it all over again.. they would have went full coils first.

I agree, springs are only a short term solution that most often lead to long term problems. With coilovers you'll get something designed with some R&D and long term you'll thank yourself, just make sure to budget for a camber kit.

And keep in mind that your stock shocks/struts are CHEAP and won't last long on just springs.
