thats a sweet new ride... shouldnt be giving you any problems... I am rollin a couple older cars, so I expect that kinda stuff but not with an 09... I would prob have it looked into (have the ecu codes read) before the winter really gets a foot hold...

I would run into this problem on occasion with my 08. Haven't had it yet with the 2010. However, that being said the issue with the 08 was that periodically the car "resets" the emissions computer and when it does so start times are longer. There may be something in the manual referring to it - check this out first before going to the dealer with it.

Mine did that to me yesterday. It was -13C outside, and the car was cold. Took quite a while to start which I can normally understand, but this was different. And why not all the time if it was 'normal'?

I'll keep a count on how often it does the super long crank (It was about 3-4 seconds) and see if Acura cares to know..or comment!

funny enough mine did the same thing a couple of days ago. I turned it off just to see if it would do it again, which it didn't. I guess it was just a one time thing. I would get concerned unless it becomes a repeat offender
