Steering column clicks
When turning (right) on my car TL 2009 SH-AWD, there is a clicking sound. It appears when it is 'snapping' back to center and it happens when driving forward and reverse. I have to park on a slight incline in reverse and it happens a bit more.
Has anyone had this behavior before? I am in Canada and the weather is southern Ontario. I don't think it's weather related. |
Check to see if you have the same problem as me.

I am going to wait before taking to dealer. I want to be able to reproduce the problem 'easily'.

is yours FWD or AWD? Mine does the same especially when the torque steer kicks it it will make a loud click as the steer straightens out. I had someone look at the steering column and don't notice anything.... weird

AWD. Since last I first posted. It still happens. I am going to wait a bit longer to report to dealer. This is intermittent and not easily producible.

Just a follow up, the issue was fixed via a Steering Column TSB.

^ Which TSB? I am having the same exact issue.
