Quick question on which greases I need for Acura Brakes job

What is the recommended grease for caliper pins and boots?
What is the recommended grease for the contact points on the pads/shim? Assuming Moly grease....which is recommended
Any other thoughts like do people still use products like CRC and such for squeaks and brake quiet?
Any thing else I missed or recommendations?

Thanks for your time.

I have been using Permatex Synthetic Brake Lubricant for the past few years with no issues. Just make sure the rubber boots are sitting properly after installation with some of that lubricant inside, especially the rear ones that get all the beating, they tend to seize more often than the front ones. To prevent squeaks, use some of that on the rubber on the caliper piston(s). There are tons of youtube videos on this.

Go to AutoZone.. Pick up any kind of synthetic brake grease.
Basically anything works

Tony, what do you mean by "the rubber on the caliper pistons"?
Please explain what you mean. In most brake jobs it is not necessary to disassemble the calipers eh.

No, I don't take them apart ! Just some of that lube around the outside of the rubber to keep it from going dry. Sorry I don't check the forum all that often lately for follow up questions.
