The passenger side mirror was hit when 2009 TL/Tech was parked outside work (street parking). Looks like someone backed up into it or hit it. Mirror will tilt up and down but housing has multiple cracks and seems unfixable. The entire mirror structure is loose and looks unstable. Should I go to dealership and pay $$$ to have mirror replaced? Is this something I can do on my own instead, like ordering the mirror, removing the old one, connecting wires and mounting the new one?
Car is leased and due back in 2 years. Appreciate any advice.

The mirror itself is probably DIY-able but If the outside plastic (the part that encompasses the turn signal) is damaged, I think you don't have much recourse other than getting the entire replaced by the dealer or some body shop. Might run into inspection issues if the side mirror looks busted.
