Well this is annoying. Went to disengage my parking brake yesterday and the end of the silver painted button cracked off. I'm going to try to superglue it back on but I'm suspecting that won't hold for very long. Does anyone have any idea how big a pain the rear this would be to replace myself or about how much I could expect pay at the Acura dealer? My bumper to bumper lapsed last May so I'm on the hook for it now. Very irritating.
Thanks for any help.
sadly acura doesn't sell just the button but the complete assembly. I'd look locally at junkyards/salvage yards and see if you can get one from a 2009-2014 model as they are all the same. The part from the dealer can be pricey.
Thanks for the info. Saw a related thread pop up for the exact same thing. At least I know I'm not alone. Lol. I'm a serious Honda fanboy but this is disappointing. Something I'd expect out of an 80s GM car. What a piece of crap.
