Interior Plastic

Whats up everyone! First time Acura owner here....Recently purchased a 2010 Tl-SH and i'm finding that the interior plastic scratches VERY easy...me being the neat freak that I am it is driving me insane...Is this a common problem with these cars? Is there any products to remove the scratches?

You need to apply protectant to your dash else it dries, becomes brittle and more susceptible to scratches. I recommend 303 protectant.

nothing is scratch proof..

scrape it hard enough, it will scratch.

im sure those scraches cannot be removed.. if it had a clearcoat.. then maybe it can be buffed.. but from what i know it doesnt.

you can do 1 of 2 things.. replace it or vinyl it..

yUUUP. Hate how tender the plastic is in these cars. I put a ladder in the back of my RDX. Placed a towel over the end of it...and still got a white mark on the black plastic cover of the passenger seatback .

It kills me that I am constantly accidentally scratching the lower portion of the driver door panel.

Get your detailed after the winter. It is amazing what the pros can do. They can make scratches disappear. You can do it , just research on what others use. i.e. polish, leather conditioner etc.
