Headlight washer cap/cover VERY loose

For all you canadians with the stupid headlight washers, that cannot be turned off.....

has anybody experienced a very loose headlight washer cap? i just came back home,a nd noticed a huge gap in mine. took a closer look, and it's super loose.

anybody have any diagrams as to how that thing is attached? anybody have any clue as to how to make the thing pop out and stay there so i can check it out?

Edit:. so i just went out to the garage to see if i could turn off hte car mid spray and have the things sticking out. didnt work. but i also noticed, that they're not loose anymore... so it seems to me like a temp change made it really loose! anybody else notice this on their TL?

btw, once i have some time, im gonna get my friend to unplug the damn thing. headlight washers are so pointless, ruins the wax/paint, wastes a TON of washer fluid.

I've had mine for 10 months now and have not used the headlight washer even once.

No. It only comes on when the headlights are on and you clean your windshield or you press the button to use it. I have never needed to clean my windshield when my lights are on.

... you've NEVER had to clean ur windshield at night or in bad weather???

i was always taught if you need to use ur wipers, your lights should be on. esp now in winter, and salt and crap get all over ur windshield.. you've NEVER once washed ur windshield when ur lights are on???
