H-001: Removing Clear-Bra?

I had ventureshield installed on the entire front of my 4G. On the front bumper cover it's starting to peel the sharper angles and has become very noticeable and ugly. I'm really considering having it removed. Has anyone ever removed venturshield or have any tips. The last thing I wanna do is damage the paint.

Installer is in North Carolina, I am stationed in Kentucky, currently working in Idaho lol. No ventureshield installers in Kentucky that I can find.

I have clear on my front, door cups and edges, and side/rear underbody. I had similar issues and return to the installer and watched him peel back the problem area, cut the sharp corners and reapply with some type of water solution.

I'm sure if you went to a reputable window tint shop, they would be able to fix it for you at a minimal cost.

Actually, I was thinking about doing that myself. I am assuming it's prudent to use a heat gun or hair dryer to ease the removal? I think only water would be needed as the film should still reatain adhesive(just a guess).

No hair dryer and no heat gun. Hot hot hot water in a spray bottle. Spray the film at a corner, while gently pulling back the clear slowly so as to not stretch it. Keep spraying the clear until you have it back to where you can make your adjustments. Press back down with the water still on the paint. You should be good to go.

I really appreciate the advice. Once I'm back from my business trip, I'll give it a try and let you guys know how it went.
