Do 4G Manual owners install GM Synchromesh ?

I am not having issues shifting with my 6 speed 4G but it could be a little smoother. I still have a bunch of GM Synchromesh left over from when I bought it for my 3G Type S. (which it made the car NEVER pop out of 3rd anymore)
Does it work OK for the 4G as well or have things changed ?

GM syncromesh is transmission fluid.
you'll be okay to pour it in the transmission fluid in place of the Honda transmission fluid.

Most honda 6MT's are notchy, and we suspect it's the stock transmission fluid not doing its job correctly.

you will be fine using this stuff in place of the stock transmission fluid.

I've heard of 3rd gear popping out, but I haven't had any problems. I'm staying with OEM unless I have a problem.

Honda changed their tranny fluid from just straigh 10w30 to a dedicated manual transmission fluid. It works much better now. Sycromesh is a great fluid to use, it wouldnt hurt anything to switch. But it may void your warranty if any issues are found down the line.

I used Sycromesh in my 3g also. Smoothed the tranny out nicely.

I am still using the Acura MTF but it seems to "go bad" pretty quick. Upon changing I have no third gear popout but about a year later it starts again (@ 15k miles later).

I will likely switch to another brand at some point now that my warranty is expired.
