"Check Battery Sensor" WTF??

So....it's been very cold here in Ontario....i'm talking today's high is -12 degrees celsius. Now not sure if this relates to my problem or not, but when i started my car, i got the warning light that says "Check Battery Sensor". A few days ago after the car was parked for about 24hrs, i got the "Replace Battery" light....now, it's been to the dealer for that issue before....but neer seen the Check Battery Sensor come on. Anybody else see this before? Something to be worried about?

Mine's done the same twice in the last 3 weeks, first after being parked outside for 10 days, and the second first thing in the morning on a "cold" day...

People have commented on that....If I am not mistaking, there is a software upgrade that reduces this occurrence. Others will likely chime in but it is a well known problem but 90% of the time, it is the sensor that is too sensitive and the battery is fine...Mine is in the garage for the winter and plugged on the CTEK3300 to maintain proper battery charge

same problem here also from Ontario. Started 2 moths ago after driving for few week like that I took the battery out and charged it. It was OK for 3 weeks now it is back. Next oil change I will report to dealer and see what they will say.

I think I read it here that is pretty common but some people had issues.

The light has come on again and this time has stayed on. Spoke to my dealer this morning, and yes, there is a software update for the exact same issue i'm having. My dealer also said that he's performed this on 2 TL's that have reported the same issue. So everybody out there that is having this issue, talke to your dealer and get the software upgrade. Mine is going in at noon today.

Battery sensor

I have a 2012 with 8200 miles on it. The sensor came on for the third time today. Dealer could not find anything wrong. Time to find a new dealer?

My 2012 TL is over a year old and my replace battery light has randomly come on 5 or 6 times. My dealer upgraded my software last September and the problem disappeared for a couple months and started up in December. I took it in this week and the dealer did a complete reinstallation of the newest software for the entire electrical sensing system. So far it's working fine.
