Have your battery checked, believe it or not a weak battery can cause this to happen.

... or maybe the battery in your key fob.

PS. Wasn't there a TSB a while back about the hood not latching properly causing the alarm to go off once in a while? I am not sure but I recall something like that.

I spoke to a friend that works for Acura and it's usually the door sensor is bad. They have been having that issue with some of the TL's

Might as well revive this old dead thread. Same issue for me this morning on my 2009 TL Tech package. I have not used the car in a month, kids off at college. So this morning in the rain the alarm went off. I used the remote to unlock the doors, alarm reset, back to bed. Ten minutes later it went off again, horn honking, neighbors probably hate me. This time I open the doors and start the car for a minute. Back to bed. Alarm went off again, this time I disconnected the battery and that's how it now sits.
Anyone have a description of what all is alarmed? I see above the hood latch might be the first thing to try, after giving the battery a good charge.
Doors? Motion sensor?where is the alarm brains located?
Thanks for any input!

Had this exact experience, right down to the going out to open doors and start the car for a minute. It was a time of high humidity, thick fog, when my 2010 did this. I have not had a similar experience since the one occurrence, though. I chalked it up to the air conditions and haven't looked back. However, after reading a few threads I think I will be checking door contacts and the hood sensor for peace of mind.
