Hello does anyone know what the black box under the purge valve is called? I did my valve cover gaskets yesterday and it was so brittle when I pulled on the tube that it snapped off. It connects to the purge valve and just sits right under. I’ve looked at diagrams but I haven’t been able to find it. I’ll include some pictures I’m assuming it’s just for emissions and starting/driving my car shouldn’t be an issue

You're welcome. It's just a purge line, you can temporarily plug it with a bolt until you get a new one.
