From 3G TL to 4G TL

Hello all,

Problems I've been having with my 06 3GTL are forcing me to retire it. I've had it since 2013 and 160k miles (bought it from someone on this forum actually) and now its at 220+k and the small problems are adding up and not worth it for me to fix so I just would rather not deal with it.

Looking into getting a 2010 with about 70k miles on it from a dealer nearby.

Any known issues with 2010?

You're not supposed to let maintenance items "add" up!!! damaged parts lead to more damaged parts and wracks up that repair bill!!

why not read some of the threads in the 4G Problem and fixes section so you can get a more intimate idea!
you are already in this section and it would probably take you less time to figure out the problems associated with the 4G

on your next car; dont let the repair items compound.

There are quite a few threads with known issues with the 4G. Are you going FWD or SH-AWD? I wouldn't consider any of the problems a deal killer, but you'll certainly want to know about them so you can diagnose the one you want to buy as well as possible.
