2012 SH-AWD Weird Noise
Hi guys
Car is 2012 TL SH-AWD Tech and it just passed 40k
Need help/advice on a couple of things..
1. I am hearing what sounds like a combination of gurgling and creaking noise during idle. Almost like some animal is stuck in there somewhere and clawing on plastic trying to get out. But when I turn the ignition off, no noise. Cant hear it from the outside and only hear from the interior. When I am in the front seat, sounds like its coming from the rear... but when I am in the rear seat, sounds like its coming from the front. Its just a weird noise and its driving me nuts!
2. As mention, the car has 40k now and I am not getting the service indication for a tranny fluid change. It did have the torque converter replaced, I think around 20k and figuring that they would have also changed the tranny fluid at that time. Do I wait for the service indicator or go ahead and change the fluid?

I had a gurgling happen, according to my wife. When I pulled it out of the garage, my neighbor said there is a grinding noise. I got out of the car and seriously sounded like a bearing at idle. I could not hear it at any other time. Took it to the dealer, they said ATF filter. I thought no way. Since then the sound disappeared. Man I would have been money on it like one of the bearings was dying,

I actually had my tranny filter replaced a while ago and kinda know what that sounds like. This particular case sounds different. Whatever it was its gone and hope it was my imagination and doesn't come back. Will report here if it comes back. Thanks guys!
