Welcome to Acurazine and nice first post. Sounds like you have a plan.

After driving at night for the first time yesterday (in the TL), I really think the backup lights could be brighter. On a few other older cars, I've done a LED replacement of all the interior lights, and upgraded the backup, license plate, etc. lights with LEDs. While I research those, It occurred to me to start recording all the bulb types for future reference. I snagged these from the manual.
Headlight Low beam: 35 W (D2S)
Headlight High beam/DRL: 60 W (HB3)
Front turn signal/parking lights: 28/8 W (Amber)
Front side marker lights: 3 CP
Front fog lights: 55 W (H11)
Rear turn signal lights: 21 W (amber)
Back-up lights: 21 W
Rear side marker lights: 3 CP
Stop/taillights: LED
Side turn signal lights: LED
High-mount brake light: LED
License plate lights: 3 CP
Trunk light: 5 W
Door courtesy lights: 3.4 W
Vanity mirror lights: 1.4 W
Console compartment light: 1.4 W
Glove box Light: 1.4 W
Foot light: LED

You can also get a full list of bulbs from Sylvania's lamp replacement guide.

Two additional purchases
Two purchases last night.
First: Philips 921 White Vision LED Back-up light (Pack of 2), $23.26 on Amazon.
I read a really interesting LED review from a guy on the accord forums. He really liked these (and VLED and exLED stuff), but his description of these sounded like what I want, and backed by a larger company.
Second: A new rubberized iphone 6 case, so it can lay horizontally (without slipping) just in front of the shift knob. I'll let everyone know how both go...

Interested in your review. I personally run VLEDS for upgrade lights minus fog lights (Morimoto XB).

New Reverse Lights
Today, I did a few lighting projects.
First, I installed the new LEDs. I know many people have done this, so I won't be too long-winded, but I did try to snap a few pictures.
As a reminder from my previous post, I bought some Philips 921 White Vision LED Back-up light (Pack of 2), $23.26 on Amazon.
I'll admit, I had to look up how to remove the taillights, only to realize that the instructions are in the manual...
Here's the left taillight removed.
After getting one of the lights installed, I took a few comparison pictures.
All in all, I agree that these are kind of brighter than the stock bulbs, but not significantly brighter. I do really like the new look, though.
I would classify these as a mainly aesthetic improvement. (Which sucks, because I started the replacement under the impression I needed these to be much brighter.)

License Plate Light Replacement
Next up was the license plate light replacements.
I won't include a lot of specifics here, either.

After removing the assembly from the rear bumper and taking off the cover, I had access to the bulb.
After replacing one of them, I took the requisite comparison pictures.
And yes, I did finish the other one. Much better.

Door Edge Courtesy Lights
Last, but not least, are the door edge courtesy lights.
It took me a little while to figure out how to get the bulbs out, and it was only after about 5 minutes of screwing around that I figured out I should take out the whole assembly. (The trick is to use a flathead screwdriver to pry out the FRONT of the light assembly, then it pivots forward and down, and you can pull out the connector.)
This next picture is from the bottom. You don't have to take out the light plate, but I did.
After putting the plate back in, then seperating the black and gray parts, I had much easier access. Here's the stock bulb.
Here's the new one in place.
Finally, an after picture.
I really like the new look.
I'll try to take some pictures at night and post them.

Sorry to be the barrer of bad news but those ijdmtoy tag lights are junk. I had the same set, and one half burnt out in a week, they also produce a really ugly cheap blue colour. I switched back to stock for the time being. I hope you have better luck than I did.

I ended up installing Phillips 194 Vision LED tag lights and they look great with a nice white light output, they have a nice protective shield for the LED so I assume they will last longer than a week like my ijdmtoy lights did.
