Man that looks like what I bought my wife for Xmas last year.. The bodykit, Nexson painted grille, Rear Wing, and the Vossens and drop came shortly after... how are those 285/30's on the rear? We're runnin 285/25's debating going up to 275/30's next time around... I rolled the fenders last week didn't need the roll for the 25's but I bought the tool and got it out of the way early...

You guys talked me into it...I got heater going (It's 19 degrees outside with 2" of snow)...front is done! I will post more pictures once it warms up.
That's funny about same presents! I like my tire set up..it fits perfect with no rubbing issues. I too rolled my fenders and got camber kit for the back (before that it was rubbing on every bump). Nexson's old set up is where I picked up the size #'s.

I always felt like that something was missing with stock lip...to me this addition to the lip completes the look (something acura should've done from the beginning)
Let me know if you need any help doing yours..I will let you know what I had to buy to make this work.

All right guys so here it is....I had many guys ask me how I got this lip so got some time to share. During this process my buddy from a local body shop gave me guidance and help cutting and fitting.
I purchased this Subaru Lip...on ebay...it was like $60 shipped...this is what the lip looks like without cutting next to the oem.....
than we designed template out of cardboard to get it that round fit for OEM lip...this would show us what needed to be cut on Subaru lip..http://i981.photobucket.com/albums/a...psc6a0b0bf.jpg
...Continue...once this was done than we made a "V" cut right in the middle of Subaru lip (not all the way through) but enough to make it flexible and able to bend to match the edge part of OEM lip...after this we mounted Subaru lip to OEM lip and cut off side piece from Subaru lip (this took the longest...making it fit perfect)..we used dremel tool the whole time. once we made the cut..this is how we mounted it from the behind...and used "black silicone" to fill any small gaps from behind. That's it..it took us 2.5 hours to do it all...
Let me know if you need anything else...

Thanks..it turned out better than I thought it would.
No Problem..I was in the same shoes like you...asked few guys and the answer was always the same...not sure "shop" did it for me. So I decided how hard can a piece of plastic be?? If you are going to be part of a forum and share pictures and pick up knowledge..it's only fair to share yours "DIY" with other members.

Haha, kudos to you man! As soon as I seen this thread...I IMMEDIATELY did an ebay search to see what lip would match, I was looking at Mazda3 or the new Camaro lips. I guess whatever fits in our gap we have there.

LOL...I know what you mean..I looked at all of them including new Camaro..since it is V design...after looing tons of close ups I figured it wouldn't be the same. The thickness of Subaru lip matches the gap needed on our cars...good luck and post some pictures once you do yours.
