Does anyone have photos of the trunk drawer in the 4G?

Looks nice, although it looks like it takes up some valuable room back there. I wonder if there's some mechanism which would prevent the drawer from rolling back out when the car is in motion.

I asked that very question to the dealer, and they told me there is bump notched on the slider to prevent the drawer from flying out.

Lol, yeah not quite large enough for a head...? lol.

Thanks for the pic. Does anyone have some from a lower angle so we can figure out how much space this thing takes up? I'm wondering how low it hangs? I'm going to my dealer today so I hope they at least have one hanging around for me to look at.

Yea, that's why The Soprano's preferred to stay with large domestic vehicles.

LMAO, For that I recomend an electric stash..... You know the ones that open when you honk the horn 3x, tap the gas to 5000 RPM while having the car in neutral. You can even customize the different things that make it pop out!!!

I saw one installed at the dealer. It felt super cheap - not very sturdy. You might want to check one out in person before making a decision.

I played around with one. It seemed extremely sturdy to me! The rollers on the drawer had a lot of ball bearings and had an extremely smooth action that will probably hold up under whatever weight you can put in this thing.

I decided not to install one in my 3G because it seems like a PITA with minimal payoff, but sturdiness was not a determining factor for me (mostly it was my laziness...)

Oh btw, the drawer is locked into the sliders when you put it in. You have to use a flathead screwdriver to release the drawer so you can remove it from the trunk.

The drawer is kept closed by a yellow latch that you push horizontally to allow the drawer to open. It's a nice, sturdy, simple design. I think the price tag is rather high for what you get, but it's not awful. The drawer itself is nice!

My biggest concerns about the drawer are things rolling around inside of it, the sturdiness of how it attaches to the decklid seems questionable depending on how much weight the drawer is holding, and the loss of trunk space.
