Chapter Leader (Northeast Florida)
I know you're leaning towards the Audi A6 but did you take a look and test drive the 2013 Lexus GS F sport. The new GS front has an aggressive look.

^ actually, finally got around to see the GS.. pricing is identical to the Audi A6 (the way i built it)... the GS is more aggressive, but a stiffer ride... slower... and fuel hungry. 12" LED screen is awfully nice, and I did like the interior a bit more than the A6
The new GS-F was the whole reason i was interested in getting a new car....but since it wasnt out yet, i decided to kick the tires on a few cars.... heres my opinions on cars in the mid-size luxury sedan
535xi - Way too pricey, very common. blah
E350 - Also pricey (good incentives though) rides like a boat... i never like Mercedes steering... Also, very common car.
M37.. a bit pricey for a Nissan if you ask me... interior was nice, but "felt" cheap. didnt really like the shape of the car all too much either.
RL - Sorry Acura- I am not paying another $9k for a car that is actually LESS impressive than the TL...
GS350 (2012) total lexus failure. horrible car IMO.
I would never buy another american car, simply because they just dont hold their resale value. Lincoln MKS was a nice looking ride though. didnt handle all too well, but very smooth
The A6 was the perfect blend of power (0-60 in 5.2 seconds, C&D did it in 4.8), handling, technology, subtle but elegant styling, and 28mpg highway with a 3.0T supercharged engine and 8spd Auto... plus the LED headlights are just so darn cool
I was very, very close to getting an S4, but the B8 chasis is getting a face lift next year, the interior was too small for me, and even though it cost the same exact price as the A6... it appears "sportier/flashier" which is something I didnt want to do this time around
I ordered my A6 last week... another 3 weeks or so until its in. pretty excited

In Search Of Sunrise....
Very cool man! Congrats on the purchase! I'm looking hard at the A6 myself. Torn between 535 or a6. Just curious, which package did you end up going with? Did you get the S-line trim?

the Bang & Oulfsen stereo was $6000... no thanks... The Bose actually sounded a little better to me
The Innovation package (night vision, lane assist & LED headlights), was $6000.....no way was i spending that... i just got the LED headlights alone)
I'm still pretty torn about the color... i ordered the new Audi White (Glacier Metallic).. its a silverish white, with metal flakes... the Ibis white is the typically bright audi white you see... kind of monotone gloss color.
I was also very close to getting an S4 Prestige.... sweet ride, but the interior was boring and too cramped for me. Overall i think i am pretty happy with my decision to go with the A6

The Sicilian
I like the one on the right as well. It's probably more of a pearl white. The other white is too stark white. Although the one on right will be harder to color match if a repair is needed.(hopefully NOT).
