Car looks great man! Tasteful add ons... Its funny you mention the exhaust. I was gonna ask if you had any more shots of it. On FYAHs TL it looks perfect, same with some other guy who posted his. On yours I notice that slight downward angle. What if one were to weld on the OEM tips to the XRL8 mufflers?

I love it when you take pictures, because your car looks very much like mine.
I don't have to do any work. :-)
Thanks!
(Although I'm not sure you have any idea how many pictures of yours I've stolen!!)

Blackura, your TL's have always had a great look to them-the 4G is no exception!

In Search Of Sunrise....
Very nice man!! Very tastefully done!
I'm probably in the minority, but i think the 09-11 TL looks so much nicer then the 2012's... Especially with the rear view of the factory aero kit. Acura definitely missed the mark on that with the 2012 model.

I agree though, I'm unsure about the XLR8 tips.. I feel the stock tips look PERFECT as is. Wonder if / how you could make the stock tips work with the XLR8 exhaust?

It's pretty easy, though.
The single biggest visual change is the OEM front spoiler. Not that expensive.
The second biggest visual change is the OEM "midnight chrome" front and rear pieces. Not that expensive, and a lot easier to put on than the factory instructions would lead you to believe. :-)
So even if you got your own 2009-2011 TL, you could make it look pretty much like Blackura's without spending much money at all.
The exhaust tips, well, the owner himself questions that, it seems. And it's arguable whether the rear OEM optional valance is better than the lighter look of the plain rear with the OEM mud flaps.
Anyway...you can make your car look very much like the very attractive Blackura car without spending much money at all!!

^^well my only issue with the 4G that doesn't drive me to say "OMG i have to have that car!" is the beak. sorry guys...it has grown on me to an extent, but i just can't get past it. the 2012 is a bit better, but not enough for me to want to run over to the dealer and get one.
for the mods that 4G owner's have done, it certainly does enhance the look of the car to detract from the "beak". so yes, while theoretically you can get the car to look like blackura's...it needs to look that way off the lot (then maybe acura might have upped their sales)! the midnight chrome... i've always been a fan of black chrome and gunmetal...

Great looking car. I told myself I would not spend any money and keep the car stock, but damn... tempting.
Did you do those headlights yourself or are they from JnC? If so, how much did they run?
How is your camber with the H&R springs and how do you like the ride quality compared to stock?

^ did the headlights myself (i have a lot of experience doing Acura headlights over the years).... I put in TSX-R lenses & 6000K bulbs & amber LEDs... it looks pretty sweet
H&R springs are my favorite drop ever... Its a nice subtle drop (1.3") and its not bouncy, i dont bottom out all the time... it is definitely firmer than stock... but i've had coilovers on all my other TLs, and the being super low (2.4") was a nightmare in NY
