upcoming exterior mods:

- China Sport TL front spoiler
- Headlight yellow reflector exchange to white
- Body side Molding
- Roof spoiler
- Black out headlights housing
- Black out chrome trims of the window
- LED daylight running bulbs

take lot of extra cash & times to wait for this exterior mods....

Car is looking good. I'm also not crazy about the "S type" badge but at the same time it's not that bad either!

haha also i would really like to know how in the world are you able to get a hold of the china front lip spoiler.. ive tried.. i even have family members try to get it in china. they just dont offer it to people but to only body shops that repair cars. and it has to be a car that is damaged to be offered that part.

 

I think I had a good start since back to 2009 when I got the car~j/k
I'm just too busy and at the same time I'm so lazy as well didn't active as any user in here.lol
I just put on some new rims this summer so want to take a few pics and post them now.

But the S badge have to stay cause there are a lot of people said the S badge looks more aggressive then the SH-AWD badge~
And after the 4G TL put on every aftermarket parts in this forum, I believe that'll be a true Type-S right?

Yup you are right, some of the dealers maybe don't offer that, but, if they told you they totally don't offer that that's just impossible(specially in China, nothing is impossible lol)
One of the dealer said they do have that parts, but you have to buy the whole bumper to get it but its talking about $2500 USD(what an idiot talking bullshit...just trying to steal people money)
And you don't have to be a damaged car, they just need you to paid, then they'll order it for you.

 

I tried to convince myself that the Chinese front lip is better but I only like it from the frontal prespective. Other than that it reminds me too much of boy race/fast & furious1

 

I have to agree. It looks a bit "snowplow-ish" from any angle except directly in front.

1. there is a button in the lower right hand corner of each thread that allows you to answer multiple posters in one thread.

2. Absolutely, the Type S badge has to be taken off. You have a beautiful car-do not lie to yourself or others by slapping a 3G badge on a 4G TL. You lose credibility on the site and with others with it on your car.

Maybe I will find a "Limited" badge somewhere and put that on mine

As for blacking out the window trim... hopefully he'll get ti done professionally because it'll look horrible if the paint starts peeling/flaking off as I have seen happen.

I don't care to look it up but someone on here snapped pictures of a black 4G which had the chrome trim blacked out and the concensus was it cheapened the look of the car. I don't know how often you guys outside of the tri state area seen this but a lot of people in NY/NJ put chrome trim on everything here from their rattle box corolla to 7 series and LSs (the headlights, tails, grill, everything), it looks terrible. Acura got the chrome trim right on the TL; not too little but at the same time not gaudy.

I think the Chinese version lip looks good only on darker paint colors..IMO.

OP with the type S on there if you're looking for that original look...then you hit it. I think you will be the only one with it.

Im going to customize one and have it say GAMEOVA EDITION.

 

Yeah get rid of the badge. That reminds me of people sticking Si and Type-R stickers on their Civics and Integras

well if you like the typeS then keep it..its your whip but it would look a lot better if you remove the TL next to it so its just the TypeS badge.

I agree that the Chinese Front lip would probably look the best on darker colors definitely in black.
