So Rondy emailed be asking for some photos for him to use for a catalog of his 2010 line. We've had some beautiful days in Boston, so I headed out to Cochituate State Park to take some photos. In classic "trick" photography, I only needed to clean 1/2 the car and 2 wheels with some quick detailer, it was far to hot to try and clean the whole thing.
I pulled out all my artillery on this one. My D40 with the Nikon 18-200, Sigma 30mm f1.4 and Sigma 120-400.
Enjoy!

Just picked up an '09 sh and was wondering where you got the headlights removal of the amber strip done at? I plan to do the RJ grill and the clear lights set it off just right!

Thanks! Even though the 2012 is out know with the redesigned front, I still prefer mine for the classic 3G style that worked so well in the last versions. And i've already got the blacked out headlights that look like are coming stock in the 2012.
Now I need to see if I can replace my rear bumper with a 2012 rear bumper.

I had JnC (a local vendor) on here do mine. Luckily he lives close to me so I dropped them off on a friday, and had them back in my hands to install on Sunday. He does amazing work, it's worth every penny

Thanks for the comments guys... I think you're right. There are actually only three things left on my to-do list before I consider myself "done". One is to paint the rear trim piece black (which should be cheap and easy), and I'm going to get some of the red lumix tint for my rear lights. Which I saw and loved on FYAH's ride.

Then of course one more thing after that

For me, this car is about luxury (or trying to be) and making the car too busy does take away what I like about this car. Again, please don't let this be seen as a critisism but rather, an opinion
Now Con and Stew have both really hot TL too...just the right balance in my opinion, of mods and elegance.

Three Wheelin'
The car is gorgeous
But too hot to clean the whole car? Good thing you don't live in Houston. I'm 58 years old and I keep all of my vehicles (three cars and two motorcycles) immaculate and do all the work (and my yard work) myself! I'd guess our average temperature the past 60 days has been about 98. Our normal right now is 94.
Sorry to bust your balls. You car really is awesome looking. And contrary to what some are saying, I'd prefer your grill to even the factory grill on our 2012. And wheels!

Our normal weather during the summer runs in the high 80's so when we get into the 90's it's not something we enjoy too much. On the flip side, I'm usually the crazy guy that goes and washes his car in the winter when it gets above 32 using some no rinse wash. My neighbors think I'm nuts...
