Post your 4G fog, low beam, side marker, turn signal combination
I recently got my headlights cleared and upgraded my low beam and fog bulbs. Unfortunatly I'm still not satisfied with the bulb combination as much as I have been with my previous TL's.
I bought the HID kit from HIDXTRA as well as the low beam bulbs. both are 6k. But the fog bulbs seems to be 8k. However, I think it's the turn signal that's not doing it for me. I'm not used to having the amber.
If any members have pictures of their combination please post. I'd like to also see how the 4G looks with switchbacks.
Here's a few recent pics of my car.

lol.. one sole reason why i do not put HIDs on my fogs is because the attention that cops give me..
and believe me they do attract attention.. its too bright and glaring for oncoming traffic and also if your in back of someone.
and this can lead to fix it tickets for tint, or being too low, etc..
but of course.. i say this as it only applies to where i live.. cops are dicks here in socal.

I bought them from V-leds.com I bought the Type 2 switchbacks and the 68 led drls. both with resistors.
switchbacks are led bulbs that replace your running lights. basically they are white when on and when you signal they flash yellow. youtube has tons of videos.

UPDATE:
I was not happy with my recent light set up. My fogs did not match well with my low beam bulbs even though they were both 6k. I recently bought switchbacks and 8k low beam bulbs. The fogs and low beam match perfectly now. I had mixed feelings with the switchbacks. I decided not to add them because it was def. and overkill with all the white. My boy Tl2Slow suggested I keep the switchbacks on the car, but just for the turn signal. I did not cut any wires. I just taped off the section on the bulb that had the continuous feed and made sure that the turn signal circuit was exposed. Here is a pic of the before and after.

Looks really good like that. So you disabled that front turn signal above the fogs? What brand of xenon and fog lights did you end up with?
Thanks

These cars sure look good with cleared headlights. Getting the bulbs to match is another thing....

I was going to order Kaixen as well before trying HIDxtra, but was unsure as to order philips or Kaixen. I also called xlr8 when I was going to do the purchase. I believe it was near $300 for the fog kit and the low beam bulb. I thought that was pretty expensive for bulbs. As of now I'm satisfied with my bulbs, especially when its 1/4 of the Kaixen price.
Which brand did you get for the fogs?
and yes, please post some pics when you do get them installed

My set is Kaixen low 6k and standard excelarate hid kit 6k for my fogs. Photo taken from my Iphone
Unfortunately my passenger side ballast fog die on me and decided on upgrading to this. KC and Josh are great guys to deal with at Excelerate, top notch customer service. Can't wait to install it. I'll post pics on later time.

man i would love to do this, but in the area where i live in, im bound to attract cops, thus resulting in tint ticket and no front license plate ticket.

Yeah, I can do that...will be a day or two though.
It's not only that I didn't want the amber, I just think it looks too busy having six total lights up front...four is plenty and I prefer the fogs over LED switchbacks.
