PM grill with black emblems

Just got my 4g TL about a month ago and my plastic chrome grill and lower trunk piece looked bad. Spotted/pitted and needed redone. Looked and looked online and never found anyone that has done the grill and that piece in the same body color other than black, white or dark gray and said let's go because I despise chrome. ESPECIALLY plastic chrome.

Repainted the whole front bumper plus the 2 grill pieces in PM (palladium metallic) silver. Did the same with the back bumper and piece under the trunk lip. I also did the lower grills in glossy black plus did the emblems (front and back) in the same glossy black. The lower corners of the grill (around the fog light) was PM too but did it black also.

I think it looks fantastic and am so happy with it.

Also I've never seen a PM TL with black mirrors and that made me want to do the emblems black. The mirrors are factory black painted, not sure if that was an option when the original owner (I'm the second) bought it new? But definitely glad he did!

The back looks fine, but the A on the front, not so much.... I would change it back if it was mine.

Why would I have front and back emblems that don't match? Also hate plastic chrome. Would like to get rid of all of it on this car.
What do you not like about it? Just curious. It's glossy black if you can't tell in the pics

I think if you color matched the round mounting plate for the front Acura emblem, it'd look really nice as they would be some contrast and it'd match the back where you see the silver under the Acura logo

Great suggestion, that would complete the look. I think the blacked out emblems look great on Silver. Nice touch!
