Smile Painted the rear lip~~Come take a look~~

A lot of people painted the rear lip matching the body color, but to me, to paint a dark grey color to the lip will look good to the black exterior body.

Do this looks good to you guys?

By the way, holding the rear lip like this kind of looks like the 2010 Vancouver torch...lol

The light make the dark grey lip looks brighter, it should be a little darker.

Hmmm, that's got some possibilities. Did you clear coat as well or just straight paint?

I'd like to see some pics outside in daylight if you have the chance...

Looks good.
By far best way to go. Not a fan of painting the grill and trunk lid to match body color. Looks like a camry that way. Did you paint the front that color?

Instead of painting the grille, I changed to the RJ grille.(you can see more pics on my album.^__^)
If I didn't change the grille I think I'll paint this dark grey color to the stock grille also.

Probably a very close resemblance to the sport grill accessory Acura keeps delaying. Looks great and I agree it seems to be the best way to go, IMO. I would kill to see what that looks like on the front. Nice job.

Looking forward to that. I was looking at the Acura Sport Trim, but as other's have said, it keeps getting delayed, and is a bit more $$ than just doing it yourself.

Thanks!

I color matched my rear trim piece, and to get the trim off I had to remove the rear bumper, which is a lot easier than removing the front bumper, took me about 45 min to get it off and put back on.

Don't touch the front bar, I'm telling you, it matches the headlights so well.

As for the rear, it looks good in some shots, but in others I can see the paint streaks. And if you didn't prime the piece first, its gonna wear quicker. Maybe a prime and a few more coats of matte black?

I liek the idea tho.

Took me about 5 to 10 mins only...coz at first start, I guess this thing is just a pop in installed piece, so I just use a screwdriver and a cotton towel to pull it out. I know my way is not a good way that everyone will do it. lol

I did think about it. I keep picturing in my mind what will it looks like if I painted to that color, but I think the color is to dark for the center bar so I guess I'll just leave it like that.

Damn, that looks so much hotter, just being outside and seeing the whole car! But seriously, take it off and do it right, too much inconsistent paint strokes. Prime it and give it a few coats or tella shop to do it right. but the idea is great, makes the whole mrear look so much cleaner.

Where did you get the spray paint from? Is that from an automotive paint store online?

I dislike the new 4gs hood trim greatly till this......

This grill is sold at Ron's site? Comes painted etc? I'm feelin it now.

The RJ front grill saves the day for the 4G front end! Now if I can just get past the design of the rest of the car... arg!

If you can paint your tailpipes the same color that would be a significant improvement. They are my least favorite aspect of the 4g.
