I hope I am not the only one with the wheels, but I am helping to jump start it so others can see how they look. They mentioned that it is very hard to get anything bigger then a 9 in the rear, which really doesnt matter to me, I don't care much for poking wheels. I just like it to be flush with the fender, not sticking out past the fender.

They are going to do the mount and balance for me, for free of course.

yea, you are like me, stay practical. We have nice cars, no need to roll fender and screw with it. Make the wheel fit the car, not make the car fit the wheel.

...I used to feel that way, but now that I've rolled the fenders, I don't see why you wouldn't do it (properly of course).

IF you had to, of course.

PS...why free? Mind sharing?! PM me.

J.

PS, specifically, ask for Dre to do it...he's very good with wheels.

I mean vossen is, as for the fender rolling, I just don't like messing with the structural foundation of the car.

Their warehouse is down in Miami, they have a balance machine, they mount all their wheels down there.

Here's an idea... why don't you post a pic and review of your car on http://celebrate.acura.com and see if anyone from Acura takes notice of your work...

Misunderstood, i thought you were getting mount/balance free at Acura. Was asking what your "hook up" was.

Anyway, yeah, I'm familiar with them...actually, Betty (fiancee) is close friends with a guy that is close with the owners/creators of Vossen.

Looking forward to seeing the outcome, Brian. I'm sure it'll be spectacular. You're due for some serious photos soon, btw.

Hey Brian, Just notice that the wheel nuts that go on the spacers are put on wrong, The cone side of the nut needs to go inwards instead of outwards. Need to recheck those wheels nuts again.

I got 20mm in the front and 25mm in the rear. "Motorsport Technology" did a great job at making these but should really pack them better. The spacers were intact though.

My car is now complete. I can honestly say that I did this car proper just like my Accord. I have a fully adjustable front (ball joint) and rear (3 piece arms) camber kit/toe/control. I am lowered to a nice height and my whole car is completely in OEM alignment spec. I will never have to worry about prematurely ruining my tires. the car runes so smooth, esp. now with the wider stance. You would never know the car is aligned. I did purchase the EDFC, but do not plan to install. It is stil BNIB

Here are pictures from the spacer install. I might lower the front a bit.

I'm guessing the text I got today means they haven't been mounted yet!
Call Mike in Serivce and, ask for Andre (Dre) to be your wheel mouting tech. He's excellent.

He wanted Vossen to make them in a 14" rim (to preserve ride integrity) and they didn't have the machine to do it.

they are only going to charge me $20 to mount the wheels to the tires at their warehouse, i would like to save money here by going this route instead of taking them somewhere, where it is be $28 per tire, however they doing it on their own time and for that reason I am still waiting.

If you want to keep the tire pressure feature, you have to have the TMPS sensors in the wheels. You can either buy them or remove them from your old wheels and transfer. I want to keep my stocks intact since it requires removing the tire to get the sensors out,

Heres an idea!!

My tire shop mounts and balances tires for $12.50 a corner, it not as low as $20, but its better then $28 per! You can crash in the extra room here and you can repaint my car!!! I have an air tank so you dont need to bring that. PM me if youre interested

Sorry you've been sick...yes, that does "kind of suck"!! lol.

So, they were going to charge you $80, and you had to drive way the heck down south and they were treating you like they were doing you a favor?!

I told you originally Acura, down the block, and with a machine and tech that know what they are doing would only cost you $8 per tire more. What the heck have you been waiting for?

They weren't going to charge me anything, they just said tip the guy $20, so technically $20 for four tires was worth waiting for lol for a little.
