My car has 12k on the clock, still pretty new, I have had it for a year an a half now. At any rate, i didn't like the way the rear beak looked, plus the fact it could have used a few extra coats, as it was light.

That's why I'm confused, you don't strike me as the frivolous spender...plus, your car is looking amazing.

But, what I don't get is you posted that you loved how the paint looked on the beak...and now, nada!

Maybe you just need my help...

Sick Nexson. Those wheels look great on your car. If you don't mind what are the specs? I'm getting my rear beak colormatched too

It wouldn't be a smart idea for me to make a purchase of a new car, when I am saving for a house, but temptation is always there.

For the 2nd time in 3 weeks I caught someone i-phone video taping my car from their car as I drive, so that made me feel very good.

As for the rear trim, it looked great on the car, but then I put back the stock one and I just like how it break it all up. I am seriously considering '12 front end conversion. I have the price list all broken down.

Because you have the one-of-a-kind '09+'12 hybrid front grille.

Most people will be scratching their heads what the heck is that front grille, as they drove by your TL.

With my discount at the dealer, I have $855, minus little clips ad screws, pretty damn good price considering how many little pieces there are on thes new front ends. This does not include the blackhoused lights though.

well they havent called you yet to tell you no it can't be done haha. I figured if anything needs to be changed it would be the bumper steel bar. Are you doing the headlights black?

I agree, Brian...why are you even thinking about doing the 2012 swap?! For a lot of reasons, I don't see a point to this, your custom work is far superior to the later design anyway.

The 2012 front end gives the illusion of a shorter overhang. The headlights are nicer too.

I say do it. But its easy for me to say that because its not my money.

If you do a 2012 conversion what will you guys do about the lower spoiler its totally different than the 09-11 and it doesn't line up with the rear at all personally i think its way off. It would be a much better conversion if all of us didn't have that lower spoiler on.

It's the latest, but not necessarily the best. Maybe the headlights...since i know you like OEM, and won't open yours...but not the rest. I vote no.

Looked at this when shopping for a new car. My impresions, dated styling and small interior for the money. Not as good a bang for the buck as the TL was/is.
Car needs a full redesign. Thye really are not selling either. I don't see a lot in my area. Mostly women with white ones.

I've seen a few and thought they were interesting, but I'm still undecided about the styling, particularly the full profile view. What I am not undecided about is Lexus' pricing for the GS - well over 50K (and maybe 60, depending on model/options). Admitting it will be a nice car, well-executed in usual Lexus fashion, I think it's grossly over-priced.

I have always disliked burgundy & red cars... Always.

I can definitely say that your car has 100% changed my mind. Absolutely beautiful - and so tastefully done. One of the best I've seen.

A neighbor recently got one of those GSs...its a car I can honestly say looks better in pictures than in person. Keep the TL.

One day we'll go out with my camera and take some other pics, say around Key Biscayne. That'll be pretty hot, @ the Miami Marine Stadium.

This is what happens when you put a cone next to your car in the morning so no one can park next to you at work. Then at the end of the day your co workers try to take a picture of your car and the cone next to it, so it can go to administration LOL

you took it a step ahead of me....

i used to put the cone in the first spot (it was the biggest corner spot)....so i can have the best spot at work even if i dont come in early LOL....

come to work
jump out of the car
put cone in the car
park car

come out of work
pull car ahead
take cone out of the car and put in spot
drive off
