It seems that you are working towards a blacked out theme,if so,then you are well on your way.

We meet weekly: https://acurazine.com/forums/showthr...=875338&page=8 , post and stop by when you have a chance. I don't think we'll be meeting this week due to rain. What part of NY are you in?

In reference to the suspension, I spoke with my local suspension shop and they recommended for me to go with H&R Springs over the Tein SS simply because of how much more money I would be spending on the TSS versus spending a lot less with the H&R and getting ALMOST the same results.

With TSS you can dial your drop in allowing you to get your drop perfect where the H&Rs will not be perfect. The deciding factor for me was that I was not interested in adjusting the ride height on my TL once I got it the way I wanted it and the drop with H&R springs turned out to be what I was looking for in a drop and ride quality. With the H&Rs the ride quality is very close to OEM and my car is functionable. No rubbing or bottoming out. The ride is stiff and has a very sporty feel and my car handles noticeably better. However the ride is not like stock. With TSS you can adjust all of this to get the exact feeling you're looking for.

If you want the ability to adjust your ride whenever you want or you want your drop to be perfect then I would suggest the TSS. I don't know this from experience but I have read on the forum that the TSS's ride better than OEM. I can believe that because you're replacing everything.

You can't go wrong with either. Just depends on what you want and if the money is worth it to you. Either way I think you will be very pleased with whatever decision you make. It's just comes down to a matter of what your pet peeves are concerning your drop.

Keep up the good work man!

What wheels do you have in mind? This is the exciting part for looks. Wheels really bring everything together.

Stay tuned as I will post some new pics of my car with the H&R springs on & my interior/headliner soon.. The pictures on page 1 was taken with the factory suspension on. I also went with the H&R springs being that my car/suspension is new. I have less than 10,000 miles on this car.. lol.. Thanks @rxyamahax1 for your reply & good luck with everything you're doing..

I went with 20’ Matte Gunmetal TSW Nurburgring wheels. I originally wanted graphite Vossen CV3 but to get that true concave look the set up would require me to go staggered which is not what I wanted for the AWD system. It would also require me to roll my fenders and take my car lower than what I wanted to for it to look right. That being said I chose TSW as my alternative. I’m big on my car being functional and want to be able to drive aggressively and not have to worry about anything.

A member stated earlier that it looks like you’re taking a blacked out approach. If that is the case, I wouldn’t go with a black rim especially if the design is cool because you wouldn’t be able to see it. IMO I think a machined face with a graphite background would look good or maybe a gunmetal finish wheel. With gunmetal it’s dark but not too dark to where you won’t be able to appreciate the design of the wheel. Check these name brands: TSW, BBS, Avant Garde, and Klassen. I think any Vossen wheel would look sick on your ride.

Either way I look forward to seeing your progress.

Your drop looks good! The CBP painted grille adds a nice finished look to the front.
