Need some feedback on slight mods to Basque Red Pearl.
Ok Azine, Im thinking of doing a couple exterior mods soon. If anyone can help me out Im thinking of tinting windows, VRS roof spoiler, and adding window guards. Any BRP pics out there of what this will look like or similar? Wheels refinished to a dark charcoal w black calipers. Just trying to get a feel for the look. Thanks Below is my starting point....

Car looks great as is!
I think the roof spoiler and a front lip will give some nice finishing touches. Tint or no tint, it still looks good. Maybe something not too dark? Like 35%?
Wheels are good in that charcoal color, but I think a slight drop would make them look even better!

Paint the grill. I was against it at first but man it makes a difference. And front lip? Get the whole kit. There is a Acura parts store on here that gives 5% discounts on all parts and accessories. Then look into coilers.

I'll get a quote on painting the grille from the dude that does touch-up at my local Acura dealer...I'm not fully sold on the complete 4G kit, that's why I haven't pulled the trigger. The grille is a good idea and I know the car would be gorgeous lowered but I'm thinking re-sale value and maintenance. I don't hold on to cars that long. I'll probably sell this one next year and get a 2011 SH-AWD/TECH. I'll be on the hunt for Umber interior. Your ideas were well received though

CruzanTLSH-AWD I'm to lazy for manual, but that Black/Umber is classy, sporty all in one. Yeah that's why I'm just doing modest mods. There weren't many available when I was looking and I went on and searched yesterday and there were like 5 in a 500 mile search.
Good news is my VRS roof spoiler shipped yesterday. Hopefully I get that by saturday to install.

Nice roof spoiler. I personally like the other style from
eBay but this was a great addition. Keep it up!
What's your next mod?

Holy shit! I'm guessing totaled. Really sad to see after the progress you've been making. Hope you're okay.

believe it or not they are actually quoting just $7k to fix it, however a body shop hasn't seen it , this is just from the adjuster and the one I'm having it taken to does not use wholesale parts but only orders factory direct OEM. ABRA Auto & Glass. $7k is a joke. The problem is my cash value is high and they don't want to cough it up. TL's are expensive in the Atlanta Metro. That's why I got mine from Florida as a lease return. Even if it is repaired they'll pay a nice penny on depreciation as I already have an independent company when they try and offer me $1000. lol

Just noticed you are in GA.....are you actually in Atlanta or surrounding area?
Sorry to see what happened to your car, glad you are OK. Was following the progress of your mods as you were doing the things I was looking to do on my car initially (tint, roof spoiler, DRL replacement, etc.).

$7,000 before taking it apart and inspecting it. It's gonna go up. That's a lot on a 2010. At least you are prepared and are getting OEM parts of it is fixed. I refuse to put on anything not OEM. We pay too much for insurance and then they try to hustle is with their off brand parts. No thanks. Good luck with your restoration. Keep us posted.

Insurance adjusters always quote low. When my RL got the front end taken off in a parking lot the adjuster only quoted $8k. I knew it would be at least $10k because of the cost of the parts involved. It ended up being $15k and they totaled it.
