My first Acura. Best car I've ever owned

Hi.

I've been lurking for a while, and thought I would say "Hi".

I'm recently divorced, and wanted a fun, family orientated car to get us around.

So I found a 2010 TL SH-AWD 6MT. Just got it from the shop today

Nice pickup OP! Those are pretty rare cars to find in the 6mt.
Looks like your from Alberta as well?

Post some more pics of the car, and what are the kms?

Did you debadge it or did it come that way? If it came that way, make sure to check the VIN sticker on the inside of the trunk to make sure it matches the car. Unless you're already aware that something may have happened to warrant a replacement of the trunk lid.

Awesome find though. Looks great.

Thank you. I'm very happy with it.

125,500kms.

Car was one owner, and all service done at the dealership I purchased it from.

Thank you. I had the paint protector shop debadge as well. Car was bone stock, and owned by a gentlemen in his 50's .

Not a rep. or anything, but this shop has treated me well: Official GTECHNIQHeadquarters | Paint Protection Film, Ceramic Coatings, Windshield Protection - The Auto Protectors

Looking good. I like the debadged look, it was the first mod I did after buying my '12 TL 6MT back in September.

Looks good. I recently purchased the same CBP 2010 6sp MT back in December with about twice your mileage. Only majour issues so far was having the shifter pop out from 3rd, the rattle from the rear deck under heavy bass, and the unfortunate crows feet clear coat failure afflicting a number of CBP painted TLs. The shift issue was fixed with the Sychromesh MT fluid change and I'm having the front speakers and sub changed out with sound deadening later this week. Not quite sure what to do about the pain job however. I am leaning towards keeping it as is and just body colour paint the grill, fog light and rear trunk garnish. Did you repaint your TL or just add the protection to an already sound paint job?

So I am noticing an issue with 3rd gear feeling "chunky" as I shift into it.

I recently replaced the tranny fluid with stock Acura fluid and no change/improvement. Did you use Acura's Sychromesh MT fluid, or another manufactorer? Thank you for bringing this to my attention.

I used the AC Delco Sychromesh MT Fluid
