Between the SHAWD and regular model there is difference between the plates and lights on the front bumper... Anyone else notice that ??

I think the AWD model has brake cooling ducts in the front bumper.

Looks toofar off the wheel axis to be brake cooling ducts.

Does the 3.7 engine need additional cooling ? Seemed like a reason to add more air flow.

Wow PetesTL! Beautiful car! Congratulations!

After some time with the SH-AWD let us know what you usually get for mpg and what the ride is like vs. the front wheel drive.

I really want to test drive the SH-AWD, but I was told by my nearest dealer (here in New England) today that they are not getting them from the factory in quantaties that they ordered. They are getting 2 SH-AWD next week and both are pre-sold. I don't know when I'll be able to test drive one. Bummer. It would be hard for me to put a deposit down on one of these beautiful machines without even taking it for a spin!

That steering wheel looks very thick and very attractive. It looks like a wheel that you can really grip onto. Compare to this, the 3rd Gen wheel is a disappointment.

Pete, that is a BEAUTIFUL car! Yup, I agree that it's a steal at that price.

The only thing that I would have chosen differently is the interior color - I probably would have gone for that cognac color... what do they call it in Acura-speak? I can't remember. Anyway, yours is a classic combo though - black on black!

Enjoy the admiring and envious stares from the other drivers... :-)

Which dealer told you that Xrays? I'm in Mass and my dealer hasn't mentioned anything.

Pete,

I had been wondering these past few days, that this guy is upto something, he is actually crazy enough to bump himself to the TL SH-AWD. I will be test driving the TL SH-AWD this week, but it feels good to see that you got a Black TL!! Very good colour choice, an unbeatable car and a much further luxurious and powerful car than the Infiniti Gs. Congrats on the car, looks freaking nice...enjoy every moment of it!

I think he should paint the trim, it's looks stealth on mine. I love the back of the 09's, it's quite jiggy! I'll post pics ASAP. I'm rather envious of those rims and tires, it just looks meaner! I'd like to black them out on for my car. The muffler is definitely is different, my is dual, this is quad. I notice the daytime lights in the front are not as wide as mine? An odd difference?

I think you're talking about the Umber ("pumpkin") leather interior.....you could get an Umber/Ebony combo interior only on the SH-AWD car. (Umber/Ebony is the only 2-tone option at this point....I'd heard that combo is extremely rare).

Wow! She's a beauty, Pete. Please don't paint the trims as I think it looks good as is. Are you considering the optional lip kit in the future?

The only thing I'm going to get painted is the grill shield/insert....I think it looks better that way.

I'm not considering the lip kit right now.....the car is leased so I'm not adding anything more to it which I won't get back when the lease ends. Besides my wallet needs a break.

which is exactly why painting the grill is not recommended. i kno u know ppl at ur dealer but wudn't they have a problem if you return the car with a painted grill?

btw the car looks amazing
