My 2010 UA9

Been super busy since I got this car, and haven't had much time to work on it. As of now I have

Blacked/Cleared Headlights with TSX-R lens and color mod
Philips 6000K Ultinon D2S HID bulbs
Philips 6000K H11 HID Kit (Not the cheap stuff!)
OEM Lip Kit
Rook spoiler
Sports Grille/Trim

I have the XLR8 Exhaust, J-pipe & HFC and H&R Springs sitting in my garage, just no time to install. Also, getting ready to order some summer shoes!

By far, my favorite TL i've owned, and ironically enough, the one with the least mods so far

Really nice looking ride.

I remember seeing you around times squares a couple of months back. I knew it was you because of the "UA9" license plate. I told my girlfriend, "hey that guy is on the forums, cool!"

On every single TL, blacked/clear headlights make all the difference. technically, my car is still primarily in stock form.. headlights go a long way

Hahah-- already had an 08 TL-S... i do miss the ass of the UA7, and the power it had. my UA7 was loaded up with power, and made about 300whp with a 5AT

DO IT! by the way, when you were following me down union, the painted grille with your headlights on looked GREAT. i am just imagining what matching HID fogs and blacked headlights would look like

Thanks- Vanity plates are tricky... people will always know your car. sometimes good, sometimes bad

I have a blackberry pic or two with the roof spoiler. i also plan on doing a full photoshoot in the summer once the car is looking better.. just wanted to share these awesome pics that somebody took

I plan on modding this one a little more, but my whole MO is a "clean" look.. the blackura was stealth, UA7 was a tuner, WDP UA9 was the white ghost.... and i want this car to be my "Clean spaceship"

I doubt that you were making 300whp on a TLs Auto

but I do like your current car, H&R Springs are the way to go if your not going with coilovers.

294whp. I can most likely dig up the dyno sheet somewhere. This dyno was done before i added the ATLP Hi Flow 3rd Cat

ATLP Non Res Catback
ATLP V1 J-Pipe
ATLP Hi Flow Cat
RV6 Pre-Cat Deletes
AEM Cold Air Intake
UR Lightweight Crank Pulley
P2R TB Spacer
P2R IM Gasket
Innovative 75A Poly-U Engine Mounts

Stock pull was about 23x whp... final pull was 294whp. same dyno, similar run conditions. i gained a massive 20whp/19wtq from the pre-cat deletes... went from 274 to 294 with those mods

I would never do a fwd again after owing my shawd. If you ever drove one of these especially if you can source one in manual tranny, theres no turning back! I dont miss my 08 type-s at all!!

^^ the torque steer was uncontrollable. thats why i went with the upgraded engine mounts.... the car would shake something nasty, but with 75A mounts, i had minimal torque steer and absolutely no wheel hop...

i used to take out stock 335i's (despite what people have to think/say)

He's right though.. i went to dealer, test drove the SH-AWD, and will never ever get a FWD car again

Damn she looks so good! The 4G styling hasn't set in on me yet. I drove an '11 Tech and it felt like a boat. I'd have to believe you going from a nearly 300whp 3G TL-S to the 4G SH-AWD its gotta be worth it. You always have a great taste in modding, cant wait to see more after the other installs!

JnC is an authorized vendor on here, and can do exactly what i did... PM him

I've been clearing Acura lights for years, so its easy for me... the process isnt extremely difficult, just takes patience and precision

4G FWD is very boaty... quite a big car to be rocking FWD in my opinion.

i will say, my 3G type-s was worlds faster than the 4G...that car was a beast, and i used to drop in 94 octane any chance i could get

i went to the dealer for an oil change with my type-s.. .sat in the 4G, thought this is nice.... drive it.... then signed the papers

the styling bothered me a bit at first, but historically, people dislike Acura designs.. than 3 years later, its the best looking car on the road ... Acura's motto should be Ahead of its time.. which actually, can be synonymous with Advanced

p.s. the 4G AWD drives like a dream. my tires are glued to the road
