Looking good man! I would def find out a way to get some spacers if you are going to run that wheel setup for good! Other than that, looks nice! Is the ride pretty similar to stock? Did you tackle the install yourself?

Nice. Looks damn good. I would go a little lower in the rear, seems like its sitting higher.

Spacers are a must if you want to run stock rims. It looks so good when it sits flush. Im looking at getting spacers until I get new wheels.

Looks good. Bye bye to the big wheel gap and since you've just got it installed, give it a couple days to let everything settle. Then make your adjustments if you want to go lower...my .

The rear is about a 1/4"-1/2" higher than the front. I kinda wanted the little tilted look anyways. The front was lower when the shop set it but I was scrapping everywhere so I highered the front about a half inch this morning in my garage. Pretty easy process might I add.

As for spacers, I was thinking about them. Gotta look around for a 15mm spacer or something like that. Let me know if you find a good set

I have the dampening set on level 5 so it's noticeably stiffer than stock. But with the EDFC, I can change it whenever I want. Level 0 being the stiffest and 16 being the softest.

I had a shop in the area tackle the install for me since I don't know anything about installing anything like this.

Thanks. I don't wanna go too extreme with the drop, I love where it's at right now. Maybe after the winter season, I'll slam it lower and just experiment with the height.

No RJ grille for me. But I am going to get JnC head and tails, and paint the grille and rear trim black. Trying to get the car done by December.

Can I make a suggestion to the blacked out headlights? Since you have black OEM wheels, which I love, I'd go for a more subtle look with the blacked out lights. Keep the amber reflectors in, and then black them out. People have done it with the 3G TL and it looks so frackin clean dude.

That's exactly what I was going to do lol. Great minds think alike. I'm not a big fan on the cleared look.

Great stance with the Teins! I'm still considering doing this for my Type S-I'm just not enthralled about spending close to $1,000 to lower my car a couple of inches and have remote control over the height.

The drivability is great on them. It has awesome grip in dry and wet conditions and not loud at all. It's even better with the teins.

I'm not too crazy about the lip kit for the 4G. Maybe RJ comes out with one

Electronic Dampening Force Control: Controls the dampening force electronically

But really it controls the ride stiffness electronically as opposed to having to do it manually (like me )

Without the EDFC you will have to adjust dampening force manually and you will be limited to adjusting the fronts dampening force only because to adjust your rears dampening force you will have to remove your back seat....
With the EDFC you the driver now have by the touch of a button the ability to adjust both the front and rear dampening force (hardness or softness) of the ride you desire. Thus you don't have to remove your back seat.....If you decide to go with TEIN coilovers it's a nice feature to have. Got it on my 4G and love it.

if you plan to stick with your HPTs, i think some 10-15mm spacers would set off your stance

I was thinking about getting 15mm spacers but I can't find any good ones. And I've read and heard that spacers are a big no-no and cause problems. So I'm not sure.

if you dont get enough turns on your lugnuts to safely secure the wheels down, you usually need extended studs then. I just dont see this car as the type where you would put extended studs on!

I have it set on 8 front and back. I think it's perfect. It feels like stock to me.

Murky, do you ever hear any slight clunking noises occasionally in the firmer settings?? Like on level 6 and under.

I get them occasionally at 8 but barely. I was thinking that maybe something was wrong with it because this is my first set of coilovers on a car but I guess its normal.

I am getting the coils installed as I type. The tech was able to install the lines for the Rear to the EDFC located in the glove but he is having a difficult time running the lines for the front. He cant find a hole in the firewall with a rubber to run the wires. I think he is going throught he side door panel from the bottom. He is just trying to avoid from drilling. For those with the EDFC how was the front lines installed to the EDFC?
