Do you. Some like it, some hate it. Which covers did you have in mind? Like the Acura RDX covers? Just don't get some brembo ones. Lol

As far as your question, with regards to calipers, I think the black ones look pretty good. But, with the color of your car, I surely would not go red. But, do I plan on putting them on my car? No, I don't want them on mine.

Anyway, I'm impressed with what you've done with this car!
Thank you, the car has come a long way.

Lol, if I were to use Caliper Covers it would be custom made one's that I would fabricate myself.

I thanked each of each of you for the response but also have to admit that I was being a bit of a devil for making that post. I have purchased a BBK
and will be posting up pics a bit later. Using Caliper Covers would not be the direction that I would want my build to go.

For the past several weeks I have been in contact with Loren @ Rotora Brakes, most of our discussion revolved around a package for my car. He was very informative and responded quickly to any inquiries that I had. Package was shipped to me on Monday and I received it on Thursday, it would have been here on Wednesday but was held by Customs , the Govt needed their slice of the Pie (Taxes LOL ).

Really impressed with the way this kit is packaged for shipment but totally blown away by the product itself, it looks astounding!! Now, I am really looking forward to Spring. Now on to the good stuff ..........

I did mention my plans to you. They are 6 Pot Calipers /15 " Rotors for the Front and 2 Pot Calipers / 14" Rotors on the Rear.
Have to wait until Spring to install, kinda anxious .

The word "plug" in your sentence ???

Hahaha, figured as much. I may have a clearance issue with the 19" rims on the Front. According to the template I have .075" or 75/1000th of an inch clearance from the top of the Caliper to the inside diameter of the rim. Lots of clearance from the Spokes, so that is causing me a bit of anxiety. At worse, 20's may be in my future.

Yeah I measured all my wheels. Hard to say if any of them clear with the template. I did just receive my 20mm spacers though so I'll be able to install the brakes soon. Gotta make sure all my wheels fit, otherwise I'm gonna have to space them out. Rears clear no problem though.

Cant image running spacers on my IW. They're all ready wide with a crazy low offset.

It is very difficult to get an accurate fitment with the paper templates. The template supplied to me also had a different hub bore than my rims.

I made a CNC metal template (not as flimsy as the paper template) using their supplied dimensions but with the correct hub bore that matches my rims perfectly. Once the measurements supplied by Rotora are accurate then it should be fine even though I am somewhat uncomfortable with the minimal clearance at the top. I will have to move the balancing weights, spoke to the Tire Shop and they assured me that would not be an issue.

That template looks legit. Hopefully we can get away with a 3mm spacer like my buddy and I. He has the Stoptech trophies and said he only need 3mm spacers for his 20" TE Ultras to clear so around +35 offset.

Thank you, can't really think of anything else that I can do with my car. I rarely go to car meets but on occasions have met up with some of the 3G members. Always good to see a fellow Torontonian.

OMG, that is a nice addition to your car. I am pretty sure if a package like that would show up at my door I would end up divorced.

The set up looks unreal.

Thank you, I knew this is a costly mod so I made sure the wife was okay with it. However, if a package with measurements of 36 - 24 - 36 showed up at my door then I would surely get divorced

Congrats on the new purchase. Those BBKs are huge! 15" and 14" rotors too?! It definitely will not clear with your existing setup without having to buy adapters. Can't wait to see how they look though!

As anxious as I am, it will probably be another month before I put them on. I will be very busy in April and the car is still in storage.

Thanks bud. I am still hopeful that I can use my current setup.Don't really want to go to 20" Wheels.
According to the template supplied, it should. There is a lot of space in front of the Caliper, my concern is the overall diameter, with the 15" Rotors it only gives me a .075" clearance relative to the inside diameter of the Rim.
For this reason I will do the installation at home, just in case the Rims don't clear. The 14" Rotor set up will work with the stock 18" using a 5mm spacer. I have pictures sent to me from Rotora with the 14 " set up on the stock wheels. Since I have 19's, then the additional 1" upgraded Rotors that I got should be okay.

As mentioned in my conversation with you, this is the info that I got from 3 different sources. However, I have not validated this to be true, as such,I will confirm that info when I do the installation.

LOL, weather still sucks but things are looking hot in the garage. .

BTW, rims fit perfect, nice clearance in front for the Caliper, the template that I made is spot on. I just have to move the balancing weights further back to clear the top of the Caliper.

Getting that done then road force balanced and I should be ready to roll. Pics to follow.

Installation complete, just have to install the SPC Camber Kit , purchase 4 new Michelin Pilot Super Sport ,get an alignment and I am done for the season. The best part of working on your own car is the effort you can put in to taking care and the satisfaction of watching it unfold. Had to protect that WDP paint .
