And here she is!!!
Okay, firstly thanks again for all the inputs. My last thread (https://acurazine.com/forums/4g-tl-2009-2014-123/beautiful-day-st-louis%3B-wondering-if-i-should-get-sh-awd-881129/) where I was seeking opinion on the SH-AWD model was very helpful. I went with the FWD for economic reasons but am happy
Having driven this for around 60 miles now, I am SO glad I decided to get this over a 2012 Lexus ES that I had narrowed down to. No comparison, the TL is really fun to drive and VERY responsive!
Here are some pictures I took last night (rained all day and generally overcast so couldn't take more!). I got this MacChurchill Acura in Fort Worth Texas. Great dealership!

Thanks everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
In case you are wondering, I do not have a dealer tag fetish But how do I take that off? I am afraid (paranoid is more like it!) that I may peel off the paint! Please advise...
It had mostly to do with how I felt driving both cars really. Now I come from a Toyota family - my 14 year old Camry that has been as loyal and faithful as I could every hope. And a 97 Lexus ES that I owned briefly for 2 years before making room for a mini-van. I respect Toyota for their dependability and the luxury their cars provide. But the Acura felt better in terms of handling, responsiveness and just engaged me a lot more as a driver than the ES or the 2013 Avalon which I also test drove. While the Lexus is smooth and refined, I could clearly see myself getting easily bored of it down the road. That's how I felt within a year of buying my fully loaded, new Camry and did not want to repeat that mistake again

Basically, you heat up the badge/adhesive with the dryer or gun and then pull the fishing line between the badge and the body to remove it. Several people have done it, so you shouldn't have an issue with paint coming off, etc.

I think there are several threads that show you how to do it here. Search "debadge" and you'll probably find them. It looks easy. It involves a heat gun or hair dryer and some fishing line.

Congrats bugsnest! Good to hear you got the TL you wanted! The debadge is a good mod to do. It will give the rear a nice clean look to it.
Like others said - a hair dryer and dental floss= piece of cake! Just take your time and the badges come off with very little effort.

All right. its gone now. The dealer logo is removed. Used a hair dryer, fishing line and GooGone.
Definitely worth the time and effort, the back looks so much cleaner without that hideous logo!
Thanks to everyone for the suggestion. I thought I was stuck with it for life!

Congrats on the new ride! How has it been the first couple of weeks? Although I don't own a TL yet, I currently have an offer on one just like this but with tech! Every time I see these kinda pics it makes me want one even more lol.
