On a FWD no not really, on your AWD you'd want to run 10.5's all the way around so they all have the same circumference. Loss of performance not that I can tell but we don't drive it like a racecar either... it handles way better in a corner. To run the 10.5's all the way around and proper tires you would need to roll all four fenders (youtube it) I'm running a 30 series on the front and a 25 series on the back of hers next time around they'll be 30's in the rear and 35's in the front. Want a tad more sidewall to fill the fenders... but that allows the rear to hold a 285/25 without rolling, there's about 1mm of clearance when the car is on a hill off camber and tucking the rear tires. You would want to run 30's all the way around on the 10.5's since you're on H&R's.. and prolly like a 255... Check out some other threads, Carrie is running 10.5's all the way around as well as the guy from Jersey on the PMM one... The only danger is there's no getting near curbs or you kill a wheel and no going thru auto car washes anymore with tracks... and watch your angle driving over things as with the wheel sticking out you can hit it... but it's just something you get used to... There is one issue i'm seeing on her car that no one else is cause they have more sidewall... the front tires tend to loose air around the beads every few days... when I bump them up to a 35 series that issue should go away... as Matt is stretched much farther than Erin's and has no issues but his sidewall is taller...

New Shots...

Looking good man! I need to get out and do more photos.

I just curbed another wheel this morning lol. I guess the good and the bad is it is always the same two f'ing wheels. Thinking about getting some curb feelers. I think as many times as I have sanded down the lips and fixed a curb mark I'm gonna end up with no lip haha.

Yeah I hit you up that night we went and did these... had a friend with me that does some amazing work... That sucks on the Curb... gotta be more careful... There's always Plasti-Dip... ? or you could keep curbing both 9's and bump up to 10.5's when you're over curbing...

Kewl! It's a lot more than just having a "Good Camera" but it can all be learned ... Hours of Youtube in your future... Start reading up on Shutter Speed, Aperture, and ISO... Photography is all about light... Get the camera into the A or S mode and out of Auto... then into M or Full Manual... will be your first things to learn... Also look up the rule of thirds, then off camera lighting... oh yeah and Editing... Lightroom 5 will be something you'll want... and expect anywhere from 30 minutes to a couple of hours editing each pic...

Thanks for the info. Considering I have a car I love and a newborn baby girl, I plan on jumping right into this self-teaching. YouTube is my BFF. LOL.

For shooting the baby you need to look into a 50mm 1.8G AF-S lens... it's like 200 bucks at B&H Photo... (Best prices on gear) it'll drop to a wide enough aperture so you can bokeh the background and shoot in low light... it's what I always go to for shooting babys

you will be rolling fenders....I had to pay a shop to do it.

Are you rolling back only or both front and back?

car's lookin' MINTY FRESH man!

Good pick up! I thought about buying a roller too, but the TL is most likely the only vehicle I'm going to roll the fenders on, my CB7 accord and 03 Altima are still down n' out and never rubbed anyway.

I think the wife's gonna have to bust our her Canon for our next shots...seems like it's the norm for "professional" shots now

Yeah I've gotta Roll the TL, and Matt's TL and after I'm gonna rent it out (with a deposit)... Already got a couple of people wanting to rent it so it should pay for itself pretty quick... The going Rate is $65 including shipping for it and the heat gun with a $200 Refundable Deposit...

We're a Nikon Family... but Canon's get it done too

Good luck! Go easy with the heat. I've found that too little heat, you'll get cracking...too much and the paint will peel off.

Yep......do a random shitty car first. I ended paying $500 to flare, grind down, and repaint my fenders after a shitty job.

^^^ $75 per corner?! What a ripoff!

I can get it professionally done $40 per corner and that's the going rate.

Yeah pricey here that's why I just broke off and bought the tool... Did them today... Came out perfect... I will say the ambient temp would make it a lot easier if it's hot... The first one it was in the high 70's and no issues keeping it warm... the other side the temp had dropped and it kept cooling off real fast... Other than that just having to heat it up a lot more no issues... Made a ton of clearance... Guess I'll have to do Matt's for him here soon...

So a few days ago I cleaned out my garage and the stock side skirts for the TL were taking up a ton of space so I threw them outside with the intention of putting them at the curb on trash day... trash day came and I said why don't I give them one chance to sell... so I ran an ad on CL and put them on eBay... and whatcha know I get up today with a guy calling me from a shop in SC wanting them... he paypal'd me $200 bucks... looks like 35 or so to ship... Gotta love a free $150 bucks at Christmas time for something you were throwing away...

Wrapping Christmas Presents in the middle of the night just figured out there's atleast 7 new Mod's for the TL under the tree... It's been about a year since I started this build thread about time to finish up round one of the Mods... This stuff should pretty much finish up what all we wanted to do to her car. Once it's completed then it's time to start thinking about if any changes need to be made right? Once all the original wanted mods are done it'll be time to sit back reflect and see if we did it right or something could use improvement... Yes there is another box over 5 foot tall under the tree for it this year any guesses?

Okay so Santa Brought some toys, 4 inch Quad Tips, Nexson Painted a Rear Trim Piece to Match, Headlights from a 2012, HIDs top and bottom 6000k, Switchbacks, Tint for the tails, reflectors, and parking lights, A Small Mod I'm keeping on the low till it's installed, New Lug Nuts, and I'm sure I'm forgetting a couple of things... looks like I got some work ahead of me... Then later on Christmas night some young chick decides she wants to take my truck almost head on with her Volvo and kill my front suspension and bumper... So not only all the car projects on the TL and the Hot Rod from Xmas presents I get to deal with insurance companys about getting my truck fixed...
